This Privacy Policy describes how Solushun.ai ("we", "our", or "us"), an EdTech platform operated as a sole proprietorship in India and accessible at solushun.online, collects, uses, and protects your personal information. By using Solushun.ai, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, and encrypted password when you register. Mobile number is optional.

Questions and Usage Data: Questions you submit (text and images), AI-generated solutions, subject selections, and timestamps. This is stored to provide your question history and improve the service.

Payment Information: We do not store card numbers, UPI handles, or banking credentials. Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay Payments Private Limited (RBI-authorised Payment Aggregator). We store only: Razorpay Order ID, Payment ID, amount, status, and credits added.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited — used for security, fraud prevention, and analytics.

Cookies: Session cookie (keeps you logged in) and CSRF cookie (security). We do not use our own tracking cookies for advertising. Third-party services (Google AdSense, Google Analytics) may set their own cookies governed by Google's privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Solushun.ai EdTech service
• To process prepaid credit purchases and manage your credit balance
• To send transactional emails (account verification, payment receipts, support replies)
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
• To display personalised advertisements to free users via Google AdSense
• To analyse usage patterns and improve AI subject detection and solution quality
• To respond to support requests and contact form submissions
• To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your questions to train our own AI models.

3. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following trusted service providers, strictly as required to operate the service:

• OpenAI (USA) — processes your questions to generate academic solutions. Subject to OpenAI's usage policies. Only question content is shared — no name or payment data.
• Razorpay Payments Pvt. Ltd. (India) — processes all payments as an RBI-authorised Payment Aggregator. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
• Google AdSense / Analytics (USA) — serves ads to free users and analyses traffic. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Hostinger (India / Lithuania) — hosts our servers. Data is stored in India.

We may share your information with government authorities, law enforcement agencies, or regulators when required under applicable Indian laws.

4. Data Retention

We retain account data as long as your account is active. Question history is retained for 12 months for users with credits, and 30 days for free-only users. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@solushun.online.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including bcrypt password hashing (cost factor 12), HTTPS/TLS encryption on all pages, CSRF protection on all forms, rate limiting on all endpoints, and regular security monitoring. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Payment Data Security

Solushun.ai does not store, process, or transmit full card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, or net banking passwords. All payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. We only receive a payment confirmation and transaction ID from Razorpay after a successful payment.

7. Children's Privacy

Solushun.ai is intended for students and requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@solushun.online. We will respond within 30 days. You may also correct your name and email via your Profile settings page.

9. Cookies and Advertising

Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing. Ads are shown only to free users — paid credit users see no advertisements. You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data to help us understand traffic patterns.

10. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Continued use of Solushun.ai after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
